Chuang Yen Monastery has invited Pure Land Master Ven. Tsung Tzu (從慈法師) to conduct the seven day Pure Land Retreat that will take place December 19 through December 26 of this year. Ven. Tsung Tzu was ordained in 1980. He has a deep understanding of several schools of Buddhism which he studied in Taiwan under various masters. He has been teaching in Buddhist institutes from 1988. Ven. Tsung Tzu studied in the State University of California before ordaining. Now he focuses on the understanding and practice of Pure Land Buddhism, preaching Dharma, and giving lectures on Buddhist moral conduct, and English language Buddhist terminology.
During this retreat, Ven. Tsung Tzu will lead participants in recollecting Buddha’s name in order to illuminate our deluded and attached minds and to stabilize and center our body and mind.
