Ven. Hui Men’s ways for Hua Tou ( Pursue the head of words to get Enlightened)
Chan Master Hui Men’s Hua Tou Chan repeatedly emphasizes absorption on Hua Tou (word head) as a way to totally block sense organs to seize external conditions and cut off vexations. In the mean time, he continuously talks about Five Strengths: true mind, awareness, contemplation and illumination, light of the mind and penetration. He is a Dharma Master who researched both Theravada Buddha Dharma and Tibet Tantric Great Perfection and integrated both into practices in Chan School.
