Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Namo Kuan Yin Pu Sa )
The Chinese name Guanyin (Kuan Yin) is short for Guanshiyin, which means “[The One Who] Perceives the Sounds of the World.”
Guanyin is the most widely beloved Buddhist Bodhisattva . It is said in the Lotus Sutra that Kuan Yin has miraculous powers to assist all those who pray to her. During this time on CV-19 Pandemic we are encouraging our community to recite the name:
Namo Kuan Yin Pu Sa while projecting the positive thought “May everyone be free from mental and physical suffering”
