Mindful Stretching and Moving Meditation 1 day retreat (11/14/2015)

Dr. Dwight Chien was born in Taiwan. After graduated from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, he came to the USA for advanced studies. Subsequently, he received an MS degree in Analytical Chemistry from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Ohio State University. Upon graduation from the OSU, he started working in DuPont, which was followed by Schein Pharmaceutical, DSM Pharmaceutical, Schering Plough, and Merck. He then studied acupuncture in Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine (ESATM) and obtained the Diploma in Acupuncture. Currently, he is studying Chinese Medicine in ESATM.

Dr. Dwight Chien has more than 20 years of meditation experience. He studied Chan Meditation under Chan Master Sheng Yen.  He practiced moving meditation with many renowned Sati Meditation Masters including: Luangpor Khamkhian, Luangpor Thong, Luangpor Dha, Achan Maha-Direk, and Achan Khemananda. He also practiced Taichi Qigong with Tao Master Man Tak Chia.
