Mindfulness of the body is the first of the four foundations of mindfulness and the basis for the other three foundations. The Buddha praised mindfulness of the body in the highest terms, stating “They do not taste nirvana who do not taste mindfulness of the body. They taste nirvana who taste mindfulness of the body.” Over four days, from Friday morning, September 2, through Monday afternoon, September 5, Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi will lead an online retreat on mindfulness of the body based on the Satipatthana Sutta. The retreat will last each day from 6 am until 9 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and from 6 am to 5 pm on Monday. A link to the schedule is found below.
Preference will be given to those who can attend all four days, but those who can only attend part-time will also be admitted. You must register to join.
The Zoom link will be sent to you when you register.
