Date: 2011/9/18 (Sunday) 2-4 pm
Place: Woo Ju Memorial Library
Speaker: Mr. Gary Link

“The great compassion penetrates to the marrow of one’s bones. Thus one serves as a refuge for every being. With a feeling as strong as a father’s regard for his only son, One’s kindness extends universally to all beings.”-Nagarjuna

For many people stepping on the Buddhist Path, the wide range of teachings we may encounter can seem quite daunting. By Cultivating the Bodhisattva Way, we can begin our journey of compassion for all sentient beings. This talk will address what it means to practice as a fearless Bodhisattva.

Gary Link is a regular lecturer at Chuang Yen Monastery. He is also a volunteer and a trustee of the Buddhist Association of the US. Gary is currently practicing and studying the Madhyamaka School of Buddhism (中觀派).

Program is open to public free of charge.
